是這樣嗎？好奇使然，我查找其字源，得到否定的答案(伊比利的意譯不是半島)。
它得名為伊比利的原因，最大的可能是與境內的厄波羅河(Ebro)有關，
古希臘文的「河岸」，公元前575年左右，希臘人到此殖民時命名之(註１)。
類似例子比比皆是，如印度的五河流域：旁遮普，
中國則有城市洛陽，洛水之北(山南水北謂之陽)。
比起厄波羅河，伊比利半島的另一條河Tagus river，由於一首詩的關係，我才較為知曉。
我經常記不住詩人名字，但這首詩前幾句，意境優美令人難忘。
葡萄牙詩人佩索阿(Fernando Pessoa)：我家鄉的河(註３)。
